Welcome

We are pleased that you are considering donating your time and efforts and Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area on Saturday, October 27, 2007.

This event, sponsored by CHS SPEAK (Cookeville High School Students Promoting Environmental Action and Knowledge), will bring together concerned citizens from all across Tennessee and Kentucky. Please join us for this historic day of giving back to our park. All volunteers will recieve free lunch and dinner, a free t-shirt, and free transportation to the park from Cookeville. But hurry! We only have room for 50 volunteers, and space is filling up fast!

Explore the links to the right for more information. The event is still in the planning stage, so please subscribe to our website either by email or RSS (using Firefox 2.0 or IE 7.0 Live Bookmarks)

To register, you can email chsspeak@gmail.com (not a link - copy and paste into your email account) or leave a comment at the bottom of this post with your name and contact information (it will be removed once we receive notification of it). When you register, please include the approximate number of people in your party. We will contact you with further information after you register.

Thanks again for helping protect and preserve our national parks for future generations.
